My Windsor chair provides a special experience to customers who want to buy a lounge chair. This Windsor chair design that has been developed from my personal experience that I like to change sitting position reading a book on a chair. The idea of armrest which would be low back rest gives the enjoyment and happiness to sit on a chair.
Design a seat that exploits Windsor style construction. This could be a stool, bench or any other piece of furniture that is intended to be sat upon. One other material may be used in combination with timber.
These backrest development designs took inspiration from my personal experience and also I wanted to design a special shape.
I made a special armrest, which could be low back rest as well, however, the first prototype wasn’t practical structure and the backrest angle is also too inclined.
This is first design prototype model. At first, I was interested in the Windsor chair structure like spindle and bow. In my cultural difference this chair structure is so unique. These 3D shape of spindle design chair are from that interests. However, 3D shape of spindle has a high budget problem to manufacture. Thus, this design wasn't choosen.
This prototype is only focusing on the visual aesthetic point. This design error was coming from misunderstood of the process bending a bow and looks like didn’t care about customers’ comfort.
